Background

Extreme rush website redesign
Completed April 2017
2 week timeline

Hockeystick builds software that collects data to help startups (and their investors) make more informed decisions.

They were working on a new website design, but at the last minute their in-house developer quit and left them with less than 3 weeks to launch their new site to coincide with a joint announcement with the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.

How we helped

Website redesign

Luckily, we were able to drop everything and jump right into the project. Within less than a week we had a functioning prototype for review and feedback. A couple of days after that we started working through revisions and polishing the site to get it ready for launch.

By the time the announcement rolled around, Hockeystick had a fully functioning, responsive website ready to wow visitors and attract new sign-ups.

Static site
development

Due to strict security requirements on their in-house server, we opted for static site generation with external tools tools for adding new press releases and announcements to the site.

Following up

Hockeystick received so many compliments on their new site, that they quickly referred us to serveral more clients. Lucky for us, everyone else had more reasonable timelines.

Following the website launch, Hockeystick also asked us to help them code the HTML for a refresh of their primary application.
